Background Check Requirement
In order to volunteer with students at any BVSD school, you will need to complete a background check process. Background checks are managed by the school district. Please refer to the BVSD Volunteer webpage for additional information on the process.
Ryan PTA can provide scholarships if you have a financial hardship. Please email volunteers@ryanelementarypta.org if you are interested in this. BVSD also provides assistance if you cannot afford to pay for a background check. Ask the school registrar at your school if you qualify. Details on how to apply are found in the BVSD Volunteer FAQs. If you have any questions or experience difficulty with the process, please contact the school office or BVSD Office of Legal Counsel at 720-561-5903.
